What we would tell you in the studio
- Crewneck and button front. A plain round neck keeps the collar area flat and open. The front placket uses sturdy buttons that secure the front all the way down, while small front pockets sit flat against the body.
- Fine gauge knit feel. The yarn produces a fine gauge knit that feels smooth to the touch. It provides light coverage without adding bulk, which allows the piece to slide under a coat or jacket without bunching.
- Straight hip length body. The body is cut straight through the waist and hem. It rests at the hip, hanging cleanly over jeans, knit trousers, or skirts rather than pulling tightly around the lower edge.
- Care and washing. Hand wash this knit in cold water or use dry cleaning. Lay it flat on a dry towel to air dry instead of using a dryer. Press with a cool iron when needed to clear any wrinkles.
