What we would tell you in the studio

  • Notch collar top. The front opens into a shallow v-neckline framed by a notched lapel. We add a clean chest pocket and full button placket, keeping the torso straight so the fabric falls without clinging.
  • Short sleeve cut. Set-in short sleeves finish with a wide hem that sits off the shoulder line. The roomy cut through the armhole leaves plenty of space for movement while you rest or lounge.
  • Elastic waist short. The matching shorts pull on with an encased elastic band that stays in place without pinching. The leg openings finish wide and hit high on the thigh to match the easy proportions above.
  • Care and wash. Machine wash this set on a gentle cycle using cold water. We recommend laying both pieces flat to dry or using a low tumble setting to keep the smooth satin finish clear and snag-free.

Living with this one

Do

  • Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
  • Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
