What we would tell you in the studio
- Cotton yarn hand. The fine cotton knit feels soft against bare skin and holds enough density to stay fully opaque. It stays light across the shoulders and lets air move through the body of the dress during hot days.
- Roomy straight cut. We gave this dress a relaxed, generous shape that drops straight down from the bust without clinging. The fabric hangs away from the waist and hips, creating clean lines that move easily when you walk.
- Crew neck and sleeves. The neckline is finished with a simple, compact crew band that stays flat against the collarbone. Short sleeves provide standard upper arm coverage without adding bulk under an unbuttoned cardigan or light outer layer.
- Care and shape retention. Wash on a gentle cycle in cold water and lay flat on a towel to dry. Cotton knits relax with wear, and flat drying preserves the straight hemline and neck opening through repeated laundering.

- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
