What we would tell you in the studio

  • Open neckline geometry. The neckline sits wide and open across the collarbone. It anchors the top of the dress without pulling, giving the piece clear structure through the shoulders.
  • Sleeve and hem balance. Long sleeves run down to the wrist, pairing full arm coverage with a short hemline. The knit falls straight from the underarm without tapering or clinging.
  • Fine yarn hand. Knitted from lightweight synthetic yarn, the fabric feels smooth and airy in warm weather. The black base keeps the polka dot pattern crisp across the surface.
  • Washing and care. Machine wash on a gentle cycle or wash by hand in cold water. Lay the piece flat on a towel to dry so the short hem and long sleeves hold their shape.
