What we would tell you in the studio
- Neckline and cut. The open neckline leaves the collarbones bare, leading into a cut that sits close through the waist and hips. Ribbed recovery in the yarn helps the garment retain its shape as you move.
- Sleeve profile. Long, close-knit sleeves balance the open neck and short hem. The cuffs sit cleanly at the wrist, knitted with enough tension to stay in place without bunching.
- Drape and yarn hand. Knitted in solid black, the yarn feels smooth against the skin with a light, flexible pull. The fine-gauge stitch creates a clean surface that layers easily under jackets or cardigans.
- Care routine. Wash in cold water inside a mesh laundry bag on a gentle cycle, or dry clean. Lay the garment flat to dry away from direct heat so the knit keeps its shape.
