What we would tell you in the studio
- Crew neck cut. The round neckline is finished with a clean edge that sits close against the base of the neck. It stays flat without rolling, leaving room for structured jackets or heavier knit cardigans over top.
- Sleeve and shoulder line. The sleeves run long down the arm to end at the wrist bones. Because we knit the shoulder seam straight across, the line stays clean when you layer a coat or wrap over the shoulders.
- Lower skirt length. The hem falls past the knee to rest near the ankle. The close cut holds its line down through the length of the skirt, giving you coverage without excess bulk gathering at the bottom.
- Care and washing. Machine wash this piece on a gentle cycle in cold water with similar tones. Lay it flat on a dry towel to dry so the knit retains its length and does not stretch out on a hanger.

Do
- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.

- Bleach and fabric softener, both of them flatten the surface.
- The hot tumble dryer, which is how knit becomes one size smaller.
- Hangers with thin shoulders, they leave two points that never come out.
