What we would tell you in the studio
- Wrap waist detail. The front panels cross over and secure with a matching knit tie. You can cinch it tight or leave it loose, letting the fabric gather naturally across the midsection.
- Fine gauge knit. The fabric has a smooth, flat hand with steady mechanical stretch. It moves with you through the day and recovers its shape after sitting, holding close without bunching.
- Sleeveless crew neck. We cut the armholes to sit flat against the shoulder without binding. The round crew neckline is ribbed lightly so it stays flat against the collarbone through repeated wear.
- Laundering and care. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, using a mesh laundry bag to protect the waist ties from tangling. Tumble dry on low heat, or lay it flat on a towel.
Living with this one
Do
- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.

- Bleach and fabric softener, both of them flatten the surface.
- The hot tumble dryer, which is how knit becomes one size smaller.
