What we would tell you in the studio
- Wide leg shape. The straight cut drops away from the upper leg to create a loose drape that stays off the skin. The fabric holds its clean lines through repeated wear.
- Waistband and zip. We built the high waist with an elastic back section and a front zipper. It sits comfortably in place without tight pressure around your middle.
- Deep side pockets. Two pockets are set directly into the side seams. They run deep enough to carry your keys or phone securely during the day.
- Laundering and care. Wash on a cold cycle inside a mesh bag to protect the seams and the zipper pull. Tumble dry on low or hang them to dry.
Living with this one
Do
- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
- Read the size chart on the partner page before you settle on a size.
Skip
- Bleach and fabric softener, both of them flatten the surface.
- The hot tumble dryer, which is how knit becomes one size smaller.
- Hangers with thin shoulders, they leave two points that never come out.
