What we would tell you in the studio

  • High mock collar. The mock neck stands upright on its own, giving you coverage through the neck while leaving room around the throat. It holds its line after repeated wear without folding down.
  • Roomy body cut. We cut the body wide and straight through the waist. The knit hangs freely rather than hugging, giving you space underneath for a thin cotton base layer or camisole.
  • Cropped hemline. The hem finishes short on the hip to offset the wide, relaxed volume of the body. It pairs cleanly with high-rise denim, knit skirts, or tailored trousers.
  • Hand wash care. Clean this knit in cold water by hand to preserve the smooth surface of the grey yarn. Press the water out gently in a towel and dry the pullover flat.

Living with this one

Do

  • Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
  • Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
  • Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
