What we would tell you in the studio
- The neck and collar. The high turtleneck stands up against the neck without pressing tight. You can fold it over once or let it gather naturally, keeping cold drafts out while holding its shape across hours of wear.
- Roomy body cut. We shaped this torso straight and loose, so the knit hangs clear of the waistline. The medium weight yarn gives the body enough heft to fall cleanly without ballooning around the sides.
- Long sleeve profile. The long sleeves run down to the wrists, finishing in tidy ribbing that holds position when pushed up the forearm. The dropped shoulder seam leaves plenty of space through the upper arm and chest.
- Yarn care. Wash this piece by hand in cold water, or run it through a gentle machine cycle with mild soap. Avoid bleach entirely, reshape the damp knit, and dry it flat on a towel away from direct heat.
