What we would tell you in the studio
- Paperbag waist construction. The high waistband gathers along the top edge with an elastic back panel for steady stretch. A matching fabric belt loops through to tie at the front.
- Front pleats and pockets. Two front pleats set the volume through the hips and thighs, leading into deep inset side pockets. The fabric falls loose down to the lower hem.
- Smooth drape and weight. The knit has enough body to maintain the wide cut without clinging. It resists heavy wrinkling during a full day of movement and sitting.
- Washing and care. Machine wash cold inside a mesh laundry bag on a gentle cycle. Lay the trousers flat to dry to preserve the waistline shape and leg length.

- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
