What we would tell you in the studio
- Wide leg cut. The legs fall straight from a high waist into a wide hem. The knit has enough weight to drop cleanly without clinging or collapsing as you walk.
- Waistband and pockets. A zip fly and front button keep the waist neat under tucked shirts. Deep side-insert pockets sit flat against the hip and hold small essentials securely.
- Tawny yarn. The tawny shade is a balanced, warm brown with earthy undertones. We knit other colours in this exact cut, each dyed in dedicated batches across separate listings.
- Care instructions. Machine wash cold inside a mesh laundry bag to protect the knit surface and hardware. Tumble dry on a low heat setting without bleach to maintain recovery.

- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
