Womens 2 Piece Lounge Sets Fall Outfits Henley Shirts & Pants

We knit both halves of this set in the same soft yarn so the sage green matches across top and bottom. The henley top has an open neck with a small button placket, while the wide-leg pants fall cropped above the ankle with an elastic drawstring waist.

What we would tell you in the studio

  • Henley neckline and sleeves. The top features an open v-shaped henley neck with small functional buttons. Short sleeves drop slightly off the shoulder, leaving room through the chest and underarms.
  • Cropped wide leg. We cut the trousers with a generous wide leg that hangs straight down and finishes above the shoe line. The elastic waist stays in place with an adjustable matching knit drawstring.
  • Roomy knit body. The fine-gauge yarn has a light, supple drape that stays off the skin. Both pieces share an open, relaxed cut that allows the fabric to move without pulling.
  • Cold water care. Wash both pieces together in cold water on a gentle cycle so the colour fades evenly over time. Reshape the top and trousers while damp and dry them flat.

Living with this one

Do

  • Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
  • Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
  • Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
  • Read the size chart on the partner page before you settle on a size.

Skip

  • Bleach and fabric softener, both of them flatten the surface.
  • The hot tumble dryer, which is how knit becomes one size smaller.
  • Hangers with thin shoulders, they leave two points that never come out.
  • Ironing directly on the face of the knit.
