Women's 2 Piece Matching Lounge Sets

A two piece set knitted as a matching pair in soft apricot. The top is cut with a plain round crewneck and long sleeves that fall loose down the arm, while the trousers pull on with an adjustable drawstring waist and side pockets. The knit sits away from the skin for easy movement through the house.

What we would tell you in the studio

  • Crewneck top cut. The long sleeve top is shaped with a classic round crewneck and a body that hangs straight down to the hip. The roomier cut leaves space over a base tee.
  • Trouser waist and pockets. We gave the knit trousers an adjustable drawstring through the waistband so you can position the rise where you like. Deep side pockets sit flat along the hip.
  • Matching apricot yarn. Both pieces are knitted from the same apricot yarn batch so the colour matches top to bottom. The yarn has a soft, smooth hand that rests lightly against bare skin.
  • Washing and flat drying. Wash the set in cold water on a gentle cycle using mild detergent. Lay both pieces flat on a clean towel to dry so the knit retains its original shape.

Living with this one

Do

  • Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
  • Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
  • Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
  • Read the size chart on the partner page before you settle on a size.

Skip

  • Bleach and fabric softener, both of them flatten the surface.
  • The hot tumble dryer, which is how knit becomes one size smaller.
  • Hangers with thin shoulders, they leave two points that never come out.
  • Ironing directly on the face of the knit.
