What we would tell you in the studio
- Cotton eyelet fabric. Perforations run through the woven cotton body to let air move through. The white yarn has a soft, light hand that holds the wrap shape without adding bulk.
- Wrap front neckline. The crossover V-neck joins at the waist with an adjustable self tie. This structure lets you set how close the bodice sits across the chest and torso.
- Sleeves and hem. Short sleeves cover the upper arm with a clean stitch finish. Below the waist seam, the skirt widens slightly and ends in a wide ruffled band at the bottom edge.
- Care and laundering. Machine wash cold inside a mesh laundry bag to protect the open eyelet work from snagging. Tumble dry on a low heat setting and press with a warm iron if needed.

Do
- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
- Measure a jumper you already like and compare it before you settle on a size.

- Bleach and fabric softener, both of them flatten the surface.
- The hot tumble dryer, which is how knit becomes one size smaller.
- Hangers with thin shoulders, they leave two points that never come out.
- Ironing directly on the face of the knit.
