Women's Oversized Turtleneck Cozy Sweaters
We knit this piece with a high ribbed neck and a generous cut that hangs straight down the body. The hem reaches low toward the calf, while dropped armholes give the long sleeves room to bunch over the ribbed cuffs. It works as a standalone knit dress or layered over trousers.

What we would tell you in the studio
- High folded neck. The turtleneck is knit in a sturdy rib that stands upright or folds over without pressing tight against the throat. It keeps cold drafts off the collarbone and retains its shape through repeated wear.
- Roomy dropped cut. We set the shoulder line well off the natural shoulder point. This allows the torso knit to fall straight and loose, giving you plenty of space through the chest and back.
- Ribbed long sleeves. The sleeves run long down the arm and finish with dense ribbing at the wrists. You can push the cuffs up the forearm to gather the fabric or let them sit over the hands.
- Washing and flat drying. Hand washing in cold water protects the soft yarn blend from friction wear. If you use a machine, select a gentle cold cycle, reshape the piece by hand, and lay it flat on a rack to dry.
Living with this one
Do
- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.

Skip
- Bleach and fabric softener, both of them flatten the surface.
- The hot tumble dryer, which is how knit becomes one size smaller.
- Hangers with thin shoulders, they leave two points that never come out.
- Ironing directly on the face of the knit.
