What we would tell you in the studio
- Elastic ruffle neckline. The neckline uses an elastic channel topped with a small ruffled edge. You can wear it straight across the collarbones or pulled off the shoulders without losing tension.
- Puffed short sleeve. Each sleeve gathers into the shoulder and finishes with an elastic ruffle cuff. The puff shape holds its volume away from the arm throughout the day.
- Cropped hemline. The hem finishes short, sitting cleanly at the waistband of trousers or a knit skirt. The wide cut lets the fabric sway freely rather than cling.
- Yarn and laundering. We use a lightweight, smooth jersey knit with stretch for easy movement. Wash on a gentle cold cycle, reshape the ruffles while damp, and lay flat to dry.
