What we would tell you in the studio
- Open crochet stitch. The grid stitch creates wide gaps between threads, giving the knit a light, open structure. The yarn has enough body to hold each square cleanly without sagging.
- Sleeveless V-neck cut. The neckline drops into a clear V while the armholes leave the shoulders bare. The front edges keep their shape through repeated wears.
- Hip length hem. The body falls straight and loose, ending around the hip line. It hangs off the torso without pulling or bunching over waistbands.
- Washing and shape. Wash by hand in cool water with a mild soap. Press out excess water in a towel and dry flat on a rack so the open stitches do not stretch out.
