What we would tell you in the studio
- Faux leather and lining. The deep coffee outer has a smooth grain and built-in stretch, backed by a slippery inner lining that rests flat against bare skin or knit tights without catching.
- Split front hem. A split sits at the front hem to allow room when stepping forward or sitting down. The lower edge is trimmed straight and falls at a short mini length.
- Straight pencil cut. The tailoring runs straight through the hips, holding a structured line that does not flare out. Strategic seams help the piece retain its shape over hours of wear.
- Washing and care. Skip the dry cleaner. Hand wash cold with mild detergent, wipe the surface dry with a clean cloth, and hang on a clip hanger to keep the fabric smooth.
