What we would tell you in the studio
- Cut and front split. The straight pencil cut follows the line of the hip without pulling tight. A clean split at the front hem gives room for walking while keeping the structured shape intact.
- Smooth stretch shell. We chose a supple faux leather shell backed with a silky interior lining. The material has four-way give, so the waistband and seams move with you rather than binding.
- Cropped hemline. The hem lands short on the leg, balancing the dense weight of the green material. Clean edge stitching keeps the bottom border flat against tights or bare skin.
- Care and maintenance. Wipe the surface with a damp cloth for quick cleaning, or hand wash cold when needed. Hang the skirt flat to dry away from direct heat to preserve the smooth finish.

Do
- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
