What we would tell you in the studio

  • Crewneck and trims. A close round neck is finished with a pale contrast edge that repeats at the cuffs and side splits. The dropped armholes keep the top loose across the shoulders.
  • Wide knit trousers. The matching trousers are knitted with a wide leg that drops straight to the shoe. An elastic waist band holds them in place without extra bulk at the midsection.
  • Side-split hem. The pullover hem lands around the hip with open side vents. This lets the knit sit clean over the waistband of the trousers without bunching up when you sit.
  • Washing and care. Hand wash in cold water or use a gentle cycle with mild soap. Press out excess water without twisting the knit, then dry both pieces flat on a clean towel.
