What we would tell you in the studio
- V-neckline cut. The knit frames the collarbone with a moderate V-neck. It lies flat against the chest and leaves comfortable room for a base layer underneath.
- Straight body drape. We shaped this sweater with a straight profile that falls freely past the waist down to the hip. The yarn has enough weight to drop straight without clinging.
- Ribbed cuffs and hem. Wider ribbing finishes both wrists and the lower hem. This structure keeps the long sleeves in place when pushed up the forearm and holds the shape across washings.
- Care and handling. Wash this knit by hand in cold water or send it for dry cleaning. Press out water with a towel and lay it flat to dry to protect the knit stitches.

- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
