What we would tell you in the studio

  • Thick fuzzy yarn. The yarn carries wool for warmth alongside durable synthetic fibres that give the knit its loft and fuzzy texture. A first wash relaxes the gauge and leaves the yarn feeling softer against bare skin.
  • Roomy straight cut. We gave this piece generous width through the body so it hangs straight down rather than pulling in at the waist. The hem extends far down the leg, falling below the knee toward the ankle.
  • Ribbed crew neck. The plain round neck is finished with sturdy ribbing that holds its circle without stretching out over time. It sits flat under heavier wool coats or over the collar of a crisp woven shirt.
  • Care and drying. Hand wash cold or use a gentle cycle with mild detergent. Squeeze out excess water without twisting the knit, then lay the pullover flat on a towel away from direct heat to dry.
