Women Summer Wide Strap Square Neck Cute Flowy Tank Top Sleeveless

Wide flutter straps anchor the square neckline, which sits straight across the collarbone. We knit this with a bit of stretch so the bodice holds its shape before releasing into a loose, flared lower body. The hem falls around the hip for easy pairing with denim or skirts.

What we would tell you in the studio

  • Square neck with ruffles. The wide straps are finished with small ruffle edges that sit flat over the shoulders. The straight neckline opens up the collarbone and keeps the upper bodice structured.
  • Cut through the hem. Below the chest, the knit gathers slightly and falls away from the torso. This loose babydoll shape creates a roomy drape that finishes at the hip.
  • Lightweight stretch blend. The yarn blend feels smooth to the touch and gives just enough crosswise stretch for movement. It keeps a clean drape without adding bulk under an open cardigan.
  • Washing and care. Machine wash in cold water on a gentle cycle, or take it to a dry cleaner. Lay the top flat to dry so the straps and hemline keep their shape.

Living with this one

Do

  • Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
  • Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
  • Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
  • Read the size chart on the partner page before you settle on a size.

Skip

  • Bleach and fabric softener, both of them flatten the surface.
  • The hot tumble dryer, which is how knit becomes one size smaller.
  • Hangers with thin shoulders, they leave two points that never come out.
  • Ironing directly on the face of the knit.
