What we would tell you in the studio
- Collar and open neck. The foldover polo collar transitions into an open v-neck without buttons. It lies flat against the collarbone, giving the neckline structure while keeping the chest area unconstricted.
- Roomy straight cut. We gave this dress a relaxed column shape that hangs away from the torso down toward the knees. The knit holds enough body to drape cleanly rather than pull tight as you walk.
- Ribbed trim. A band of firm ribbing anchors the lower hem, matching the cuffs at the wrists. The sleeve ribbing holds the long sleeves in place when pushed up the forearms.
- Care and maintenance. Wash by hand or run on a gentle machine cycle with cold water and mild detergent. Lay the dress flat to dry on a towel to preserve the stitch structure and knit length.
