What we would tell you in the studio

  • Halter and racerback lines. The front neckline angles up toward the collar, leading into a narrow racerback that clears the shoulder blades. The edges are finished neatly to keep their shape without pulling or sagging.
  • Smooth knit structure. We selected a lightweight yarn with natural stretch for this piece. The surface is smooth against bare skin, holding close to the torso while giving you full room to move.
  • Cropped waist hem. The hem finishes just above the natural waistline, sitting flat without curling. It rests cleanly over high-waisted linen trousers, shorts, or a knit skirt without adding bulk around the hips.
  • Washing and care. Hand wash in cool water or run a gentle machine cycle with mild detergent. Skip the tumble dryer and lay the piece flat on a towel so the knit keeps its shape and recovery.

Do

  • Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
