What we would tell you in the studio

  • Linen and rayon cloth. The yarn blend balances the dry texture of linen with the soft give of rayon. It stays light against the skin and lets air move through the open weave.
  • Drawstring elastic waistband. We set an elastic band through the casing and added a tonal cord. It rests flat on the waist without binding when you sit or walk.
  • Wide palazzo cut. The legs are cut wide and fall cleanly away from the frame. That extra volume gives the trousers their easy movement and keep the hem clear of the ankle.
  • Washing and care. Wash on a cold cycle inside a mesh laundry bag to protect the weave. Tumble dry on low heat or lay the trousers out flat to keep the fabric smooth.
