What we would tell you in the studio
- Brushed flannel texture. The surface is lightly brushed to build a soft, insulated layer against cold air. The weave holds enough weight to keep its structure without feeling stiff when you walk.
- High rise waistband. We set the waistband high on the waist to anchor the straight cut. It sits flat under tucked knit tops and stays in position throughout the day.
- Roomy straight cut. The skirt falls straight from the waistband with extra ease through the hips. It hangs away from the body, leaving plenty of room for heavy tights or base layers underneath.
- Washing and care. Hand wash in cold water or run a gentle machine cycle inside a mesh laundry bag. Lay the skirt flat on a drying rack away from direct heat to preserve the flannel texture.

- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
