What we would tell you in the studio
- Open square neckline. The collar sits wide across the collarbone, cut straight to give the chest room on hot afternoons. Wide shoulder straps sit flat and keep the opening squarely centered as you move.
- Straight short hem. We finished the bottom with a short hemline that lands well above the knee. The hem is turned and stitched clean so the lightweight fabric hangs straight without curling at the edge.
- Hidden side pockets. Two inset pockets sit along the side seams, deep enough for small belongings. The pocket bags lie flat against the interior so they do not add bulk to the outer profile.
- Cool water care. Machine wash this piece on a gentle cycle in cold water, or have it dry cleaned. Lay the knit flat on a dry towel out of direct sunlight so the shape does not stretch out.
