What we would tell you in the studio
- Open front drape. The buttonless front lets the panels fall straight and move naturally as you walk. It layers over plain tees, thin knit tops, or woven shirts without catching on underlying fabric.
- Light gauge yarn. We chose a fine knit structure that gives light warmth without adding weight. The inner surface rests smooth against bare arms, while the knit keeps a steady mechanical stretch throughout wear.
- Patch pocket placement. Two functional patch pockets are stitched directly onto the lower body. They sit flat against the fabric to hold small items without sagging or distorting the line of the front panels.
- Cold water care. Wash on a cold cycle inside a mesh laundry bag, or wash by hand. Reshape the damp piece and dry it flat on a towel so the open front keeps its original shape.

Do
- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
- Measure a jumper you already like and compare it before you settle on a size.

- Bleach and fabric softener, both of them flatten the surface.
- The hot tumble dryer, which is how knit becomes one size smaller.
- Hangers with thin shoulders, they leave two points that never come out.
