What we would tell you in the studio
- Open front cut. The buttonless front hangs straight down the torso, leaving the layer underneath visible. The roomy shape creates a relaxed drape that sits off the body.
- Fine gauge yarn. Spun with a blend of polyester, rayon, and spandex, the knit feels smooth against bare skin and holds a gentle crosswise stretch.
- Patch pocket placement. Two functional patch pockets sit flat against the lower front panels. They hold small items without pulling the cardigan out of alignment.
- Washing and care. Machine wash cold inside a mesh laundry bag, or hand wash gently in cool water. Lay the knit flat on a towel to dry so the hem holds its line.

- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
