Long Sleeve Tunic Tops for Women Dressy Casual Blouses

We cut this tunic straight through the body so it sits smoothly without pulling tight. The brushed knit fabric has stretch for ease of movement, while the diagonal button placement across the chest adds structure to a simple round crew neckline. It lands down at the hip line for full coverage.

What we would tell you in the studio

  • Diagonal button front. A row of buttons runs diagonally across the front panel, breaking up the brushed surface. The neckline stays a classic rounded crew that rests flat against the collarbone without stretching out over time.
  • Brushed tunic length. We knit this from a brushed yarn blend that feels soft directly against the skin. The cut falls in a straight line toward the hips, giving you a longer silhouette that layers easily over leggings or tailored knit trousers.
  • Full long sleeve. The sleeves run full length to the wrist in a steady, regular gauge. They slide comfortably under cardigans or heavy winter coats without bunching at the elbows or pulling tight across the shoulders.
  • Gentle cycle care. Wash on a gentle cycle in cold water to protect the brushed finish and keep the buttons secure. Lay the top flat on a drying rack so the knit retains its original shape.

Living with this one

Do

  • Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
  • Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
  • Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
  • Measure a jumper you already like and compare it before you settle on a size.

Skip

  • Bleach and fabric softener, both of them flatten the surface.
  • The hot tumble dryer, which is how knit becomes one size smaller.
  • Hangers with thin shoulders, they leave two points that never come out.
  • Ironing directly on the face of the knit.
