What we would tell you in the studio

  • V-neck and armholes. The front neckline drops into a clear V that stays open without gaping. We finished the armholes and edges smoothly so they rest flat against the skin when worn solo.
  • Long relaxed drape. Cut with a roomy A-line shape, the fabric hangs straight down rather than clinging to the midsection. Side vents at the long hem allow the lower edge to move freely or tuck cleanly into waistbands.
  • Smooth woven hand. The lightweight material has a fluid drape and a soft sheen across the brown dye. It feels cool to the touch and slides easily beneath heavier knit layers without bunching.
  • Care and maintenance. Wash on a gentle cold cycle and tumble dry on low heat, or hang it to dry. A brief pass with a low iron or handheld steamer clears storage creases and resets the finish.
