What we would tell you in the studio

  • Crewneck and button detail. A plain round neck keeps the collar flat against the collarbone. Across the front, diagonal decorative buttons run into the spliced color-block panel to break up the surface without adding bulk.
  • Brushed knit yarn. The yarn is brushed on the outer face, creating a soft texture with built-in stretch that recovers after hours of wear. It feels light on bare skin while holding sufficient weight to drape straight.
  • Straight tunic length. The hem lands low past the waist toward the upper leg, giving full coverage over knit trousers or leggings. Because the sides drop straight, the fabric hangs cleanly without bunching up at the hips.
  • Washing and care. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle to protect the brushed finish and the decorative front buttons. Lay the piece flat on a drying rack so the knit retains its straight shape and length.

Living with this one

Do

  • Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
