What we would tell you in the studio

  • Crew neck and shoulder detail. The collar sits close in a neat round band. We set small decorative buttons along the shoulder seam to break up the smooth expanse of the knit.
  • Straight cropped hem. The body falls straight from the underarms and finishes at a cropped length. It sits cleanly over high-waisted denim, knit skirts, or under heavy outerwear.
  • Long sleeves with give. The full-length sleeves stay close to the arm without tightness. The yarn carries enough stretch to push the cuffs up the forearm when needed.
  • Cold water wash. Wash this piece on a gentle cycle in cold water inside a mesh laundry bag. Lay it flat across a drying rack to keep the hem square.
