We shaped these beige trousers with a wide leg profile that drops straight from the hip to the floor. The stretch weave holds a firm, tailored structure while moving freely as you walk or sit. A concealed elastic section inside the waist band keeps the front flat without adding bulk.

What we would tell you in the studio

  • Stretch weave structure. The dense blend of rayon, nylon, and spandex provides lasting recovery so the knees do not bag out over hours of wear. The surface remains crisp and smooth across the leg.
  • Waist construction. A zip fly and hook-and-bar closure create a flat front closure. We built hidden elastic into the waistband to give you flex through the waist without visible gathers on the outside.
  • Wide leg profile. The cut gives generous room through the thigh and calf, falling in a clean line down to the shoe. It pairs naturally with fitted knit tops, boxy cardigans, or tailored jackets.
  • Washing and care. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle or wash by hand. Tumble dry on low heat and press with a cool iron when needed to maintain the sharp fall of the trouser.

Living with this one

Do

  • Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
  • Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
  • Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
  • Measure a jumper you already like and compare it before you settle on a size.

Skip

  • Bleach and fabric softener, both of them flatten the surface.
  • The hot tumble dryer, which is how knit becomes one size smaller.
  • Hangers with thin shoulders, they leave two points that never come out.
  • Ironing directly on the face of the knit.
