What we would tell you in the studio

  • High mock neck. The neckline sits close and upright against the collarbone without folding over. It holds its shape through the day and creates a clean, balanced line above the wider body of the dress.
  • Roomy body cut. We shaped the main panel to hang loose and straight from the chest. The fabric falls away from the waist and hips rather than drawing in, which keeps the garment airy and easy to move in.
  • Cropped hem finish. The hem lands short on the leg, finished with a clean knitted edge that resists curling. It pairs naturally with tall boots or low shoes when the weather turns cooler.
  • Washing and care. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with like dark colours. Lay the piece flat on a towel to dry so the knit does not stretch out along the hemline or shoulders.

  • Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
