What we would tell you in the studio

  • Henley crew neck. The neckline sits close as a round crew with a buttoned front placket that remains shut. It keeps its shape through regular washings and lays smooth under an outer jacket.
  • Wide-leg cut with pockets. We cut the trousers loose through the leg so they do not cling when you walk. Deep side pockets sit flat along the seam without pulling the waistband down.
  • Green yarn texture. The deep green cotton yarn has a subtle crinkle across the surface. Knitting both halves in one dye batch keeps the tone uniform from shoulder to ankle hem.
  • Care and shape. Wash both pieces together in cool water on a gentle cycle so the green shade fades evenly. Lay the garments flat on a clean towel to dry.

Living with this one
