What we would tell you in the studio
- Brushed yarn hand. The surface of the black knit is gently brushed to raise a fine fuzz. It gives the fabric a soft touch next to skin and holds gentle warmth through cool weather without feeling heavy or stiff.
- Crewneck and trims. A classic round crewneck sits flat at the collarbone. We finished the neck, cuffs, and lower edge with firm ribbing that keeps its shape and stops the long hem from rolling after a day of wear.
- Roomy straight cut. The body is cut wide and hangs straight down well past the hips toward the lower leg. Because it sits away from the torso, it layers smoothly over leggings, trousers, or a slip dress.
- Washing and drying. Wash this sweater by hand in cold water or send it to dry clean. Do not tumble dry or bleach. Lay the knit flat on a towel to dry so the long hem does not stretch out.
