What we would tell you in the studio

  • Crew neck and trim. A plain crew collar sits flat against the collarbone, framed in dark contrast rib. That same dark yarn outlines the button placket, the cuffs, the cropped hem, and the pocket welts on the chest.
  • Cropped cardigan cut. The top is knit with a boxy, straight shape that finishes above the natural waist. Long sleeves end in firm ribbed cuffs that hold at the wrist when pushed up.
  • Straight knit trousers. We knit the trousers with a wide, straight leg that falls cleanly from the elastic waistband. Contrast side stripes match the cardigan trim and run the full length of the outer seam.
  • Yarn and laundering. The fine gauge knit has a cool, smooth hand with gentle recovery stretch across the day. Hand wash in cold water with mild detergent and lay both pieces flat to dry.
