What we would tell you in the studio

  • Crew neck and front placket. The round crew neckline sits flat against the collarbone, edged in deep contrast trim that travels straight down the front placket. Small gold-tone buttons close the cardigan securely without pulling the fine knit out of line.
  • Cropped cardigan proportions. We knit the cardigan hem short so it meets the waistband of the trousers cleanly. Long sleeves finish in matching contrast cuffs that rest lightly at the wrist without squeezing.
  • Straight wide trousers. The pants drop in a clean, straight cut from an elasticated waist down through wide legs. Contrast side-seam striping runs the full length, giving the trousers structure as you walk.
  • Yarn hand and care. The smooth yarn blend offers soft stretch that recovers its shape across a full day of wear. Hand wash both pieces in cold water and lay them flat to dry to protect the knit and trim.

Living with this one

Do
