Womens Tie Front Tops Vacation Sweater Vest
We knit this vest in an open crochet stitch using a lightweight cotton blend. The V-neckline fastens at the front with soft knit ties, leaving the body loose and airy down to the hip. It works over swimwear or layered with a bralette on warm days.

What we would tell you in the studio
- Open crochet knit. The open-stitch pattern allows air through while giving the pink yarn visible texture. It hangs away from the torso without adding bulk.
- Tie front neckline. A deep V-neck closes with thin matching knit ties down the center. You can knot them close or leave the bottom open over high-rise waistbands.
- Sleeveless cut. The armholes are cut deep enough to sit cleanly over tank tops, camisoles, or swimwear without bunching under the arms.
- Hand wash care. To keep the crochet structure from stretching out of shape, hand wash in cool water and lay the vest flat on a towel to dry.

Do
- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
- Read the size chart on the partner page before you settle on a size.
Skip
- Bleach and fabric softener, both of them flatten the surface.
- The hot tumble dryer, which is how knit becomes one size smaller.
- Hangers with thin shoulders, they leave two points that never come out.
