What we would tell you in the studio
- Ribbed body and zip. The vertical ribbing gives the knit natural horizontal give that recovers as you move. A full front zipper lets you adjust the neckline from a tall stand collar down to an open front layer.
- Mock neck collar. We doubled the rib along the collar so it stays upright when zipped high. Worn open, the collar folds back flat against the shoulders without losing its shape over a day of wear.
- Short cropped hem. The lower edge finishes short near the waistband, bordered by a dense band of ribbing. Because the body sits loose, the hem hangs clean without gripping tight around your hips.
- Cold water care. Hand wash in cold water to protect the yarn structure and avoid friction in the wash cycle. Press out excess moisture with a towel and lay it flat to dry instead of hanging.

Do
- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
- Measure a jumper you already like and compare it before you settle on a size.

- Bleach and fabric softener, both of them flatten the surface.
- The hot tumble dryer, which is how knit becomes one size smaller.
- Hangers with thin shoulders, they leave two points that never come out.
- Ironing directly on the face of the knit.
