What we would tell you in the studio
- Ribbed body knit. The vertical ribbing gives the knit a pliable stretch across the chest while holding its shape. In white, the raised stitch lines catch the light cleanly across the whole body.
- Mock neck and zipper. The collar sits close against the neck when fully closed. A two-way front zipper lets you adjust the opening from both the collar and the lower hem throughout the day.
- Roomy cropped cut. The body is cut wide and hangs away from the waist, ending in a shortened hem that clears the waistband of higher trousers. It leaves ample room for underlayers.
- Cold water care. Hand wash in cold water or dry clean when needed. Reshape the knit while damp and lay it flat on a drying rack away from direct heat to protect the rib tension.

- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
- Measure a jumper you already like and compare it before you settle on a size.

- The hot tumble dryer, which is how knit becomes one size smaller.
