What we would tell you in the studio
- Standing mock collar. The neck stands on its own without needing to be turned down or adjusted. It gives you the coverage of a higher collar while leaving room around the throat.
- Roomy body cut. We shaped the torso with extra width across the chest and shoulders. The fabric drops straight down, creating space underneath for base layers without bunching.
- Cropped bottom hem. The hem stops short rather than pulling down past the hips. This keeps the generous volume of the body balanced and pairs cleanly with high-waisted trousers or skirts.
- Wash and flat dry. Wash this piece in cold water by hand or on a gentle cycle to preserve the smooth face of the knit. Lay it flat across a towel so the weight does not pull the shape out.
