What we would tell you in the studio

  • Round crew neckline. We knit the neck as a plain crewband that sits flat against the collarbone. It holds its circular shape through repeated wear and layers neatly under coats or jackets without bunching.
  • Straight sleeve construction. The long sleeves run in a clean line from the shoulder to the wrist. They provide full arm coverage while leaving enough room through the forearm to avoid pulling when you move.
  • Cropped straight hem. The hem is cut straight across and lands at a cropped length. This shorter finish creates a defined bottom edge that sits off the hips and pairs easily with high-waisted layers beneath.
  • Cold wash care. Machine wash in cold water inside a mesh laundry bag to protect the knit surface from snagging. Tumble dry on a low heat setting and avoid bleach so the navy dye stays deep.
