What we would tell you in the studio
- Wide convertible neck. The broad boat neckline lies flat across the collarbone or stretches down over the shoulder. It is knitted with clean edges that hold their line through repeated wear.
- Lantern sleeve shape. Each sleeve drops low from the shoulder and billows out before gathering into an extended ribbed cuff. The cuff keeps the fabric in place at your wrist.
- Two-part silhouette. The bodice hangs loose over the elastic waist, creating a blouson drape above. Below the waist, the ribbed knit narrows down through the short hem.
- Washing and care. Hand wash in cold water or dry clean to protect the elasticity of the ribbed stitches. Lay the knit flat on a dry towel instead of hanging it to dry.

Do
- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
- Measure a jumper you already like and compare it before you settle on a size.

- The hot tumble dryer, which is how knit becomes one size smaller.
