What we would tell you in the studio
- Open polo neckline. The knit collar sits flat along the shoulders and frames an open v-shaped split. It lays cleanly without buttons or hardware, staying open against the neck.
- Cropped straight hem. The body is cut with extra room to hang straight and loose. It ends at a shorter hemline that rests right at the waistline of trousers or skirts.
- Smooth lightweight yarn. We spun this from a smooth, dense yarn blend that feels cool and soft directly on skin. It provides moderate warmth without the bulk of heavy winter wools.
- Washing and care. Hand wash this knit in cold water with mild detergent to protect the fine gauge. Gently squeeze out water, reshape the collar, and dry it flat on a towel.
Living with this one
Do
- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
- Measure a jumper you already like and compare it before you settle on a size.

- Bleach and fabric softener, both of them flatten the surface.
- The hot tumble dryer, which is how knit becomes one size smaller.
