What we would tell you in the studio
- Open neckline and pleats. The open neck sits flat along the collarbone, giving way to gathered front pleating. These folds add gentle texture across the chest while the knit stays close through the shoulders and back.
- Banded lower hem. We finished the bottom with a knitted band that rests around the hip. It holds its place as you move, creating a soft gather above the waist without any tucking needed.
- Fine gauge yarn hand. The yarn is spun for a smooth, lightweight hand with built-in stretch. It recovers well after a day of wear and packs down flat without deep creasing.
- Washing and drying. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle using mild detergent. Lay the piece flat on a clean towel to dry rather than hanging, which keeps the shoulders and banded hem in shape.
