What we would tell you in the studio

  • Open V-neck top. The pullover features an open V-neck and a cut that hangs away from the chest. Long sleeves finish without heavy ribbing, letting the cuff sit loosely over the wrist, while the hem stops high on the hip.
  • Wide ribbed trousers. We knit the trousers with a generous leg that falls straight from the hip down. An elasticated waistband with a soft knit drawstring keeps them anchored, and two inset side pockets sit flat along the seams.
  • Lightweight ribbed hand. The fine vertical rib gives this yarn a steady mechanical stretch across both pieces. It feels soft and smooth directly against bare skin, holding its structure rather than clinging as you sit or walk.
  • Laundering and care. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle to protect the fine rib structure. Tumble dry on low heat or lay the top and trousers flat on a towel so the legs keep their vertical line.

Living with this one

Do

  • Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
  • Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.

  • The hot tumble dryer, which is how knit becomes one size smaller.
